Trapcode Horizon
Trapcode Horizon comes packaged in the Trapcode Suite installer. This page explains how to install Trapcode in trial mode.
Before beginning:
Close all resource-intensive programs. Make doubly sure all resource-intensive programs are closed in the background, especially for the host program into which you are installing plug-ins.
Be logged in as an administrator. The installer will place its plug-ins onto your configuration in a way that will be accessible by all system users. To do this, you need to be an administrator

The Trapcode Suite installer will provide general host system and OS specification requirements. Trapcode Horizon runs inside the latest versions of Adobe After Effects. You must agree to the EULA to continue with installation.

The installer will give you a choice of installing your Trapcode plug-in as a licensed product or in trial mode. If you have a serial number for a product or the suite, enter it into the Serial Number prompt to fully use the Trapcode product(s) you purchased.
If no serial number is input, your Trapcode product will install in trial mode. Running in trial mode lets you try out a Trapcode product before you purchase it. You may see a red "X" across the image in both previews and final renders, or you may have a timed trial, or there may be keyframe limitations. Aside from that, the Trapcode product will be fully functional.
If you purchase a product after installation, you can unlock trial mode with a serial number at any time.
The Trapcode products will install into the compatible host applications that you check off. Make sure that you have checked at least one host application for installation.
