Welcome to the Trapcode Horizon User Guide. This guide has several sections shown the navigation bar on the left, including installation, interface overview, a gallery, and some general tips and tricks. Click whichever subject you need help with.

Trapcode Horizon is a camera-aware image mapping tool that ties your After Effects camera to a 3D world. By applying images or gradients to the inside of a giant sphere, Horizon creates an infinite background and renders what the camera sees on the inside of the giant sphere. This means no matter where your camera is directed, photo-realistic backgrounds or sky gradients look perfect. Camera zoom (FOV) will affect the output.

Trapcode Horizon is useful when a 3D camera move leaves the viewer confused. Horizon can generate a background that corresponds to the camera move and thus helps the viewer understand what is going on.
