Bottom Toolbar

The default bottom toolbar is a customized selection of essential brushes, transformation, and geometry features.

Canvas > Bottom Toolbar

The customizable toolbar supports adding brushes, alphas, textures, and materials. Items from palettes can be customized in the Quick Menu.

 

1. Essential sculpting & painting brushes

A collection of commonly used sculpting and paint brushes.

Licensed versions of ZBrush for iPad offer customization of up to five unique bottom toolbars with brushes, alphas, textures, and materials. Learn more in this guide's UI Customization section.

2. Gizmo3D

Tap to activate Gizmo3D to move, scale, and rotate models in the canvas.


Long press to open Gizmo3D settings.

3. DynaMesh (quick menu)

A quick menu to use DynaMesh directly within the canvas.

The DynaMesh parent menu lives within the Tool Palette > Geometry menu.

 

Tap the DynaMesh icon in the bottom toolbar to activate.


Long press the DynaMesh icon to open settings.

4. SculptrisPro (quick menu)

Activate SculptrisPro directly within the canvas.

 

Tap the SculptrisPro icon in bottom toolbar to activate.

5. ZRemesher (quick menu)

A quick menu to use ZRemesher directly within the canvas.

The ZRemesher parent menu lives in Tool Palette > Geometry > ZRemesher.

 

Tap the ZRemesher icon in the bottom toolbar to open settings.

6. Subdivide (quick menu)

A quick menu to view and edit subdivisions for the selected subtool.

The Subdivisions parent menu lives in the Tool Palette > Geometry menu.

 

Tap to open Subdivision settings.

7. Live Boolean Render

Tap to toggle Live Boolean Render mode.

BONUS: Not Happy on Bottom?

ZBrush for iPad lets you flick your toolbar from the bottom of the screen to the top. Simply give the bar a good press and swipe it toward the top of the UI.
