ArrayMesh is ZBrush's powerful, efficient system to create instanced geometry for modeling. Instanced subtools draw along paths defined in XYZ space. These subtools have abilities to transform and align instanced surfaces.
Palettes > Tool > ArrayMesh
The source model can be edited and applied to all instanced parts.
You can construct complex within ArrayMesh, then preview to view and edit instanced geometry before generating all instances as new geometry.
