Curve Actions perform various modifications on curves within the model. These actions add, adjust, or remove curves to refine topology, guide deformation, or influence other modeling processes. Curve Actions help shape surfaces and control edge flow by dynamically modifying curve-based elements.
Curve Modifiers adjust how Curve Actions behave to provide greater control over curve creation and manipulation. These settings influence how curves interact with the model, define their influence on topology, and refine their overall behavior to ensure smoother or more structured results.
The Curve Actions menu appears after applying a curve to the surface. This can be done by applying a curve using Polygon Actions, Edge Actions, Point Actions, or Curve Brushes.
Create beveled topology along edges defined by the selected curves. Clicking and dragging determines the bevel radius.
Modify beveled topology along selected curves. These settings control the number of inserted edges and define the bevel's shape when using Dynamic Subdivision, ensuring precise control over smoothness and structure.
Determines the number of edges (1, 2, 4, or 8) added within the beveled topology.
Controls the shape of the bevel when Dynamic Subdivision is applied, affecting both roundness and edge spacing.
Linear: Maintains an even, straight bevel transition.
Sharp: Creates a tightly defined bevel with minimal smoothing.
Soft Edge: Generates a smooth, rounded bevel for a softer transition.
Remove the selected target curve(s).
Turns off all Curve Actions, preventing unintended curve modifications.
