Select Temporary Polygroups Mode to activate and select or deselect temporary polygroups without holding the Alt/Option-modifier. While Temporary Polygroups Mode is active, ZModeler polygon Actions are suspended.
Tap or drag on an unselected face to select one or more polygons.
Tap or drag on a temporary polygroup to deselect one or more polygons.
Double tap a temporary polygroup to deselect all polygons.
When Temporary Polygroups Mode is active, the Alt/Option-modifier can still select temporary polygroups.
Done: Tap the Done button (green check mark) to apply the temporary polygroup selections and restore polygon Actions.
Deselect All: Clears all temporary polygroup selections.
After tapping Done, the top right corner of the icon displays the number of active temporary polygroups.
Temporary polygroups appear as white polygroups on the model and, together with ZModeler Targets, define which parts of the surface receive a ZModeler action. When Temporary Polygroup Mode is disabled, use the Alt/Option modifier with specific Polygon actions to select multiple polygons and apply a single action simultaneously.
Temporary polygroups apply only to polygons.
Alt/Option-tap or Alt/Option-drag an unselected face to select one or more polygons as temporary polygroups.
Alt/Option-tap or Alt/Option-drag a selected face to deselect one or more polygons as temporary polygroups.
Alt/Option-double-tap a selected face to deselect temporary polygroups.
