Instructions for switching between Gizmo3D and the Transpose Line.
When Transpose Line is activated, it replaces the Gizmo3D controller.
1. Switch between Gizmo3D and Transpose Line by tapping the Transpose Line toggle. Gizmo3D shares its orientation and origin point with the Transpose Line's origin and path.
The example above shows that, initially, the direction of the Gizmo3D's x-axis cone aligns with the Transpose Line's path. After drawing a new Transpose Line, the Gizmo3D's x axis updates to follow the new path
2. When the Transpose Line toggle is active, the Gizmo3D icon in the Default Toolbar is replaced by the MSR icon, indicating the available Move, Scale, and Rotate functions for the Transpose Line.
Learn more about the Transpose Line's transformation capabilities in this guide's Transpose Line Essentials section.
ZBrush for iPad's Transpose Line works the same as in ZBrush desktop. Learn more in our external ZBrush Modeling Basics > Transpose documentation.
