Lights

This section covers the basics for editing lights for real-time viewing and BPR renders.



Light Actions


1. Drag within the light sphere to move the selected light's position on the model.


2. Tap the light sphere to send the light to the back of the model. Repeat this to send it back to the front.

Create a backlit scene and add other lights to fill the foreground.



3. Tap additional light icons to toggle their visibility and settings.

Active light effects are stacked based on their hierarchy within the UI.

Lights do not display on the model when you select a MatCap material or fill to a subtool. Select or FillObject with a Standard material to see Lights displayed in real time and in a BPR render.




Light Options

Adjust Intensity, Ambient, and Distance parameters, which affect real-time and BPR render views.

Choose a Light Color, which assigns to the selected light channel.


Background

Project a spherical image around the scene, with customizable image correction and rotation controls.


Quick Steps:

1. Tap Texture > select from available default or imported textures.

2. Adjust image correction settings, and toggle Rotate With Object to enable or disable rotation of the background with the camera.
