GoZ Troubleshooting

Information for known issues with GoZ connections and usage.

GoZ on iPad Doesn’t recognize any of my devices:

1. Make sure that you are using ZBrush 2025 or later.

2. Make sure your devices are on the same local network.

3. If you don’t see your device on the desktop version of ZBrush, press the refresh button after you make sure the Import window is open on your iPad.

4. If your desktop machine is connected by Ethernet cable to your router, make sure the Wi-Fi signal your iPad connects to is also coming from the same router device that your desktop is plugged into. If you have a Wi-Fi extender or a second router connected, GoZ may not recognize your devices.

5. Make sure third-party apps like VPNs or anti-virus protection software isn’t blocking device connection.

GoZ on iPad fails during file Import/Export:

1. Make sure to not close any screens from either your iPad or desktop during the send.

2. Make sure the ZBrush screen saver is turned off.

3. Make sure not to switch to another application while sending your project. Importing or exporting any project will take longer with larger file sizes.

4. Make sure you have enough disk storage space on either device to accept the project.
