GoZ Import

GoZ connects ZBrush for iPad with external applications, allowing it to receive projects from supported software.

GoZ is offered in the licensed version of ZBrush for iPad.

GoZ Supported Applications:


GoZ ZBrush Desktop to iPad

1. Ensure both devices are connected to the same network.

If your main computer is connected to Wi-Fi network "SubtoolMaster," your iPad also needs to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network (SSID).


2. In ZBrush iPad, open the canvas Import menu, and select GoZ to receive a file from ZBrush desktop.

The Import > GoZ menu must remain open to successfully receive a file from ZBrush desktop.


3. In ZBrush desktop, press the GoZ to iPad button, select the discovered iPad device, then press Send.

4. When the transfer is complete, ZBrush for iPad receives the file and presents a "Received" notification from the desktop device.

GoZ Cinema 4D to ZBrush iPad

1. Ensure both devices are connected to the same network.

If your main computer is connected to Wi-Fi network "SubtoolMaster," your iPad also needs to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network (SSID).


2. In Cinema 4D Preferences, navigate to Extensions > iPad File Transfer, and enable the Announce Service to Local Network option.

3. in ZBrush iPad, open the canvas Import menu, and select GoZ to receive a project from Cinema 4D.

The Import > GoZ menu must remain open to successfully link with Cinema 4D to receive a file. At this step, the Import > GoZ menu is empty.

4. In Cinema 4D, open the Extensions menu and select Send project to iPad, which offers the ability to send the Cinema 4D project to ZBrush or Forger iPad apps.

When the ZBrush iPad GoZ Import menu is opened, the Send Project to iPad menu displays the connected device for selection.

5. When the transfer is complete, ZBrush for iPad receives the file and presents a "Received" notification from the device.
