Apply Tracking

We will show here how to match move a logo to make it stick to the side of the streetcar that we tracked in the point track section

Let's add a layer with our logo on top of the tracked footage layer.

Add a CornerPin Modifier to the Transform.

Note that the frame at which you set the CornerPin is important: Since we are going to manually place the CornerPin and place it where desired, we don't want the tracker to move the logo at that frame.

We call this frame the Reference frame. You can set the Reference frame in the Tracker Model section. A button lets you set the Reference frame to the current frame, which is useful if it doesn't match the frame at which you manually moved the CornerPin.

Follow Track

Copy link the Model parameter from the Timeline, or select the row and click on ctrl+c.

Add a Follow Track Modifier to the logo layer's Transform parameter to match move.

Now paste link the model which was copied before to the Model parameter of the Follow Track Modifier.

That's it! Your logo is now match moved

Note that this is a link: if you re-track or refine the track, the model will update the match move automatically. This workflow makes it possible, for example, to first setup the Follow Track Modifier and then do the tracking in order to better assess where the tracking is good enough.
