Cineware with Adobe Illustrator
What can it do?
- With Cineware, you can load Cinema 4D projects directly into Adobe Illustrator and adjust the perspective there or use available masks.
Materials, lights and cameras can be edited and the result can be combined with other elements from Adobe Illustrator. - The various rendering and display methods from Cinema 4D can be used directly in Illustrator to display 3D elements.
- The prerequisite for this is that you first download and install the appropriate plug-in for your operating system and the existing Adobe Illustrator version here: https://www.maxon.net/de/cinema-4d/features/cineware-for-illustrator
Versions up to Adobe Illustrator 2023 are currently supported. - Note that you must also have a current Cinema 4D version installed on your system and this must also be linked in the Cineware preferences of Adobe Illustrator (can be found under Window>Cineware>Preferences... ). Before using Cineware in Illustrator, Cinema 4D must also be started so that both components can recognize and synchronize with each other.
Note:
Note that Redshift materials are not currently supported. All materials are exported but only with the default colors and default highlights and must therefore be reconfigured in Adobe Illustrator. The links to the textures linked in the materials will be lost. Node materials of the legacy standard material system of Cinema 4D, however, are largely supported.
