HOW TO INSTALL TRAPCODE PARTICULAR

This page explains how to install the Trapcode product you purchased and/or other Trapcode products in Trial mode.

Before beginning:

• Close All Intensive Programs: You will want to make doubly sure all intensive programs are closed in the background-- especially whichever program you are trying to install the plugins into.
• Be logged in as an administrator: The installer is going to place its plugins onto your setup in a way that will be accessible by all users on your system. In order to do this, you need to be an administrator.

Running the Maxon App

If you are using current versions of our products your software is already compatible, and you can update directly using the Maxon App:

1. Run the Maxon App to see if any of your products have an update available
2. If this is the first time you’re running the app you may want to reset the configuration.
3. If there is an Update/Install Button, click on it and follow the instructions for installation.
4. If there is no indication of an available update, you are on the current version.

Welcome Screen: Read Requirements

The Trapcode Suite installer will provide general host and OS specifications it can run in. Trapcode Particular runs inside the latest versions of After Effects. For the latest compatibility information, please check system requirements.

Installation: Confirm Administrative Credentials

The installer is ready to install plugins and files onto your setup that will be accessible by all users on your system, and it will need to ensure you have administrative privileges before it's able to do so. Once this is done, the installer will install all of the necessary files.

Installation Complete: Enter License Information

The installer now displays a confirmation that the products were installed. Close lets you exit the installer and head to your plugins within their compatible host applications.

What's New heads to an overview of what's been added in the latest update. And Close lets you exit the installer and head to your plugins within their compatible host applications .
