Trapcode Particular
The Rotation group allows you to rotate the particles on any axis, any orientation, and in different directions.
Orient to Motion lets the particles orient to the direction they are moving. For example, an arrow can point in the direction it moves. By default, at 0%, Orient to Motion is turned off. Dial it up for the amount of orientation you want for your particles.
Allows you to adjust how quickly particles orient to changes in motion.
Allows you to adjust, as a percentage, how much particles orient their direction along the path of a text or mask emitter.
Rotates the particles around the X, Y and/or Z axes. X and Y are only visible on Sprites when Face Camera is turned off.
Random Rotation
Adds randomness to the Rotation setting. More specifically, this parameter rotates the particle around a random axis. Useful for getting a more natural looking effect where all particles have unique orientation in space.
You can set the particle's rotation speed in Degrees/second separately for each axis. X and Y are only visible on Sprites when Face Camera is turned off.
Random Speed Rotate
Rotates the particles using random speeds. Some of them will rotate fast, some slower, which is very useful in giving a natural appearance, for instance when making explosions.
Random Speed Distribution
Enables fine-tuning of the randomness of Rotation Speed. The default value of 0.5 is the normal, Gaussian distribution. Setting the value to 1 will give a flat, even distribution.
