Bang
RENDERING
Bang has properties you can use for how your muzzle flashes will be rendered. For instance, if you want to use Bang in Supercomp choosing Transparent under the Composite On dropdown. Similar to Optical Glow, you can also identify the background footage type you're working with.
Parameters

- My Footage is contains options that help Bang determine how best to blend its effects. Select Video , Log , or Linear depending on whichever footage type is getting worked with. Video is chosen by default as minimal adjustments are made.
- Highlight Rolloff provides a way to adjust the bright core of the flash, glow and interactive lighting effects. Because Bang respects and generates HDR pixel values, the brighter areas at the core of the glow can appear harshly clipped. Highlight Rolloff gently suppresses these HDR values to bring them back into the 0–100% range of pixel values. This can create a pleasing look, with the core of the flash maintaining color saturation and a softer appearance.
- Composite On allows you to composite the flash on your Background layer (default), on Background (grain matte) (renders Bang on transparency with grain to match your plate), on Black or on a Transparent background (great for using when wanting to composite in Supercomp).
