Introduction
This page lists the native 3ds Max shaders that are either fully or partially supported by Redshift.
3ds Max Shaders
Materials
Architectural
The following input parameters are not supported:
- Luminance cd/m2
- 2-sided (always enabled)
- 'Advanced Lighting Override' options
- 'SuperSampling' options
Internally the specular reflections are translated to the Redshift material Ashikhmin-Shirley model, instead of the native Max implementation, so some tweaking will be required to look the same
Blend

The following input parameters are not supported:
- Translucency
Matte/Shadow
The following input parameters are not supported:
- Opaque Alpha
- 'Atmosphere' options
- Affect Alpha (always enabled)
For a more comprehensive feature set, please use the Redshift matte object property, or Matte Shadow Catcher material.
Multi/Sub-Obj

Standard
The following input parameters are not supported:
- Wire
- 2-Sided (always enabled)
- Face Map
- Faceted
- 'Strauss' BRDF
- 'SuperSampling' options
