Attribute scalar data can be stored per object or per point on a point cloud. This shader node gives you access to that attribute data, facilitating object or point shading variation without requiring different materials.
Redshift 2025.4 and newer support color and scalar per-vertex attributes on hair primitives. These attributes are automatically extracted and made available in shaders using the Scalar User Data node.
