# 03 - QuickStart

Trapcode Horizon

## QuickStart

- Launch *Adobe After Effects.*
- Create a New Composition.
- Create a New (Comp-sized) Solid.
  - *Note that this solid should never be moved from center. To move the gradient around, use the controls inside the effect instead.*
- Apply *Horizon* to the solid from your *Effects* menu under the *Trapcode* subfolder.
- Create a New Camera.

Now you can start working with the Horizon plug-in controls.
