# 03 - Overview

Magic Bullet Renoiser

### Overview

Below are descriptors for each parameter within Renoiser.

**Sharpening**

**Sharpen:** Sharpens the image before noise application.

**Sharpen Edges Only:** Performs sharpening only in image regions with sharp contrast between light and dark color values.

**Grain**

**Grain Amount:** Sets how much grain applies to the image.

**Grain Preset:** Provides presets which populate other parameters throughout Renoiser.

**Size:** Controls the grain size generated by the Grain Amount parameter.

**Texture:** Controls how much the original image influences grain placement, rebuilding it out of grain.

**Log Grain:** Controls the color space in which the grain is generated.

**Monochrome Grain:** Determines if the grain is colorized or black and white.

**Channels**

**Red Amount:** Sets the amount of grain in the red channel.

**Green Amount:** Sets the amount of grain in the green channel.

**Blue Amount:** Sets the amount of grain in the blue channel.

**Red Size:** Sets the size of grain in the red channel.

**Green Size:** Sets the size of grain in the green channel.

**Blue Size:** Sets the size of grain in the blue channel.

**Tonal Range**

**Highlight:** Sets how much grain appears in image highlights.

**Midtone:** Sets how much grain appears in image midtones.

**Shadow:** Sets how much grain appears in image shadows.
