Lower values give a faint glow. Higher values give particles a stronger glow. ![glow-size100](https://help.maxon.net/rg/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/glow-size100_trapcode-form.jpg)\ ![glow-size300](https://help.maxon.net/rg/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/glow-size300_trapcode-form.jpg)\ *Size at 100 (left) and 300 (right). This example uses the "tf2_Virus" preset.* **Opacity %** Sets the opacity of the glow. Lower values give a transparent glow. Higher values give particles a more solid glow. ![glow-opacity10sm](https://help.maxon.net/rg/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/glow-opacity10sm_trapcode-form.jpg)\ ![glow-opacity100sm](https://help.maxon.net/rg/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/glow-opacity100sm_trapcode-form.jpg)\ *Opacity at 10 (left) and 100 (right).* **Feather %** Sets the softness of the glow. Lower values give a globular, distinct edge. Higher values give particles a feathery, soft edge. ![pggg6](https://help.maxon.net/rg/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/pggg6_trapcode-form.png)\ ![pggg7](https://help.maxon.net/rg/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/pggg7_trapcode-form.png)\ *Feather at 0 (left) and 100 (right).* **Blend Mode pop-up** The Blend Mode controls how particles are composited together. ![pggg5](https://help.maxon.net/rg/en-us/Content/Resources/Images/pggg5_trapcode-form.png) - **Normal:** Normal composite operation. - **Add:** Particles add together. This is useful for light effects and fires. - **Screen:** Particles screen together. This is useful for light effects and fires.
