Form
The Rotation group rotates particles on any axis. You can give the particles a random rotation so they rotate in different directions, and also orient particles in very specific ways.
Rotate X/Y/Z: Rotates particles individually around the x, y, and z axes. These parameters are mostly for the Textured Polygon particle type, although Rotation Z also works with Sprite and Star.
Rotate X at -50 (left) and 100 (right).
Random Rotation: Adds randomness to the Rotation setting. More specifically, this parameter rotates the particle around a random axis. This is useful for getting a more natural-looking effect wherein all particles have unique orientation in space.
Rotation Speed X/Y/Z: Sets the particles' Rotation Speed separately on each axis. Rotation Speed is enabled for Textured Polygon on all axes. Additionally, Rotation Speed Z can apply to Sprite and Star.
Random Speed Rotate: Makes particles rotate at random speeds. Some particles will rotate fast and some slower, which is very useful for giving animation a natural appearance.
Random Speed Distribution: Enables fine-tuning of the randomized Rotation Speed. The default value of 0.5 is the normal Gaussian distribution. Setting the value to 1 will give a flat, even distribution.
