Tips and Tricks
- Don’t forget that you can bake effects such as shadows, GI, Ambient Occlusion, etc., which let you achieve near render quality results right in the viewport.
By baking textures let you achieve near render image quality in the viewport. Notice in particular the lighting and shadow effects. A special thanks goes to Artur Bala for letting us use this scene.
- Wild mouse movements made while recording the camera’s motion path that result in erratic jumps between frames can be offset or smoothed over to a certain degree by defining high values for Frame Spacing (e.g., 40). Subsequently select the corresponding keys in the Timeline and activate the Auto Tang setting in the Attribute Manager. The animation’s F-Curves will then be interpolated smoothly between these keys. However there is a disadvantage to using this method: If the Frame Spacing value is too large the animation will be less precise and walls may be walked through.
