Thin Film Preview Basic Inputs Outputs Context
A thin oil film can additionally refract the light on a surface and produce a colored sheen. This effect can be seen on soap bubbles. By varying the simulated thickness of the oil film an additional play of colors can be created. In this example, a multiplied Basic Node is used to create the variation.
If light is refracted, this is, as a rule, done individually for all color portions of the light. A classic example of this is the colored sheen on oil film. This Node calculates precisely this characteristic coloring in accordance with the angle of view and the thickness of the film.
