Diffuse Shading

This is the surface color as it appears after the shadows are applied. Coloring by the light source is included.

Specular Shading

Here you can create shading via specular highlights based on their Specular Exponent setting.

Light Color

This is the surface color as it looks after being colored by the light source. The surface’s own color will not be taken into consideration.

In Shadow

The state of this output shows if the object surface point currently being calculated lies in a shadow (output: 1 or TRUE) or not (output: 0 or FALSE).

In Back Shadow

Here you can query if a cast shadow exist on the back side of a visible object surface point.
