Here you will find the progressions generated by the Node as color values.

Distance [-∞..+∞]

The values output here lie between 0 and 1 and define a linear brightness progression between the center of the shape (0) and the n-gon’s outer edge defined by the Scale value (1). This progression works independently of the Anti-aliasing setting. For all areas that lie outside of the circular surface of the texture tile, the value 1 will generally be output.

Mask [-∞..+∞]

This numeric value has a range from 0 to 1 and denotes the area of the n-gon shape, including its anti-aliasing. The completely opaque areas of the n-gon have an output value of 1 and the shape’s anti-aliased edges have values ranging from 0 to 1. A value of 0 is generally output for the open background area.
