Normal Map

Whenever fine details should be depicted on a surface that are too detailed to model, Normals can be used. This effect is limited because the shape of the object will not actually be modified. If viewed from a very flat angle, it will be obvious that only the surface shading is being modified.

This Node is used to prepare a Normal texture for use at the Normal input of a Material Node, for example.
