Hair MaterialBasic Tag
The Hair Material tag is automatically created when you add hair to an object or selection by selecting Add Hair, or if you apply hair to an object as a whole. This Tag’s primary function is to correctly mix materials for hair that has numerous materials applied to it.
You can apply as many Hair materials as you want to a Hair object. The Hair Material Tags will then be applied in the order they appear in the Object Manager – from left to right. Basically, the first tag will use a certain number of hairs (depending on the Tag’s settings) for its material and leave what’s left for the subsequent Tags to use. It is, though, possible to define if and how a subsequent tag will apply its material to hair. The settings of numerous Hair materials can be mixed as well. For example, various material settings for the Frizz channel can be mixed.
