This value defines the precision of the noise calculation. The larger the value, the more variation and the more detail that will result.
These values can be used to create a pattern. The Large Turbulence value is Blistered Turbulence and is superimposed by the FBM type Small Turbulence.
An additional noise structure can be used to hide regions of the grain and add variance to the generated pattern.
All random calculations of noise patterns and turbulences used by the node are based on this value. Modifying this value will result in a recalculation of the grain.
This setting can be used to increase the difference in brightness between the dark and light regions of the grain.
