# Touch Gesture Settings

ZBrush offers the ability to change two-, three-, or four-finger gestures, touch strength, and pinch-navigation effects.

# 1. Touch

## Touch Navigation

Controls whether one-finger touch is used for sculpting on the model and navigation or navigation only.

### **Enabled:** (default)

- Finger / touch use within the canvas area orbits / rotates the camera.
- Finger / touch use on the model sculpts on its surface.

### **Disabled:**

- Finger / touch use in the canvas or on the model orbits / rotates the camera.
- Finger / touch sculpting is disabled.

## Touch Strength

This slider controls the pressure sensitivity when using touch to sculpt on the model.

> **Note:** Reducing slider value requires firmer pressure when sculpting on the surface with touch/finger use.

> **Note:** When **Touch Navigation** is enabled, **Touch Strength** has no effect as sculpting on the model surface is disabled with this configuration.

# 2. Gestures

## One/Two/Three/Four-Finger Tap

Each gesture combination option offers a collection of all other actions for selection. Tap the menu to open all possible actions for assignment.

> **Note:** Customized touch and gesture settings store to ZBrush preferences. These settings are retained after restart.
