# FiberMesh

ZBrush's system to generate geometry-based fibers for hair, environments, and more.

Palettes > Tool > FiberMesh

### Quick Steps:

1. Apply a mask to the surface and tap **Preview** to see FiberMesh results in the targeted mask area. Adjust FiberMesh settings to customize fibers.

2. Tap **Accept** to generate a FiberMesh subtool for use with Groom brushes.
