# Overlay Magnify Glass

The **Movie > Overlay Magnify Glass** sub-palette sets options for the magnify glass in movie recording. *To activate the Magnify Glass see the[Preferences > Magnify Glass](https://help.maxon.net/zbr/en-us/Content/html/reference-guide/preferences/magnify-glass/magnify-glass.html.md)sub-palette.*

### Magnify UI

With the Magnify UI switch activated the magnifier will be visible in movie playback whenever the UI is interacted with.\
If Medium or Small is activated for movie size then the magnifier will beembedded into the movie itself. If the Large size is activated then the magnifier will not be embedded into the movie.

### Magnify Doc

With the Magnify Doc switch activated the magnifier will be visible in movie playback whenever the document or Tool is interacted with.

If Medium or Small is activated for movie size then the magnifier will be embedded into the movie itself. If the Large size is activated then the magnifier will not be embedded into the movie.
