Redshift Materials in ZBrush provide a physically based rendering (PBR) system to create realistic and stylized surfaces. These materials support complex light interactions, including reflection, transmission, subsurface scattering (SSS), and thin film effects, allowing for highly customizable material appearances. The Redshift material system consists of two primary types: Redshift Polypaint Materials, which support polypainting, and Redshift Preset Color Materials, which rely on predefined color settings.
All ZBrush Redshift Materials offer the same essential parameters as the Cinema4D Redshift Standard Material. Please find more information in the Redshift Cinema4D Standard Material section.
