Particle Field Layer


In this example, the Particle Field Layer is used in a Vertex Map tag and transfers the radius information of the particles as weighting values to a landscape.

This layer is a Field whose effect is restricted/masked by the space around the particles (both Cinema 4D particles and Thinking Particles) and can be mixed with other fields and Modifier layers in the corresponding field lists (e.g., for effectors or deformers).

Particle objects (the particle groups of the particle simulation system, but also the legacy emitter object or the Thinking Particles group) can simply be dragged and dropped directly into the field list.
