Reproduce

This is a special form of Emitter, as it can be used to create new particles based on existing particles. You must therefore already have particles in the scene in order to be able to use Reproduce. Think of a classic firework display, for example, in which individual, luminous particles often disintegrate into a multitude of new particles. Since this effect also allows many properties of the original particles to be transferred to the new particles, decay processes can also be simulated well, e.g., when a larger particle breaks into many smaller ones.

Reproduce automatically affects all particles in its area of influence and should therefore only be used under certain Conditions or within specific Particle Groups so that particle decay can be used in a targeted and limited manner. There is also a direct option to copy the new particles into a separate group to prevent uncontrolled duplication of particles.

Exemplary use of a Reproduce Emitter. Each collision with a wall triggers a disintegration of the particles into new particles.
