Presets

Menu for calling up the default settings for numerous common metals. Custom Refraction Index and Absorption values can be defined by selecting Add Preset or deleted using Delete Preset.

IOR [XYZ ]

Refraction values for red, green and blue color parts. Here you can define the coloring of the surface and its reflection depending on the angle of view.

Absorption [XYZ ]

This setting can be used to affect the intensity of the reflection separately for the three color parts of the reflected light.

Normal

This input can be used optionally when using a Normal map for manipulating surface Normals during Fresnel calculation.

Direction

This input is also optional and can be used to define a different angle of view onto the surface.
