Vector

Here you can pass a vector to a node. This can be a 2D or 3D vector or a color component. The function is comparable to that of the Split Color node.

Index [0..2]

Here you can directly access the desired component of the vector and output is via the Component output. Index 0 to Index 2 refer to the X, Y and Z components of the vector.
