Path Selection

The Path Selection tool lets you select polygon edges or points interactively by practically painting over a selection. This tool only works in edge or point mode.

Note the functionality of the Move, Scale and Rotate tools by which you can create a selection path between the currently selected components and the previously selected components by Shift + Ctrl/Cmd + clicking. This works in Point, Edge and Polygon mode. Note also the similar Loop Selection function.
