This is self-explanatory information relating to the file, which cannot be modified. Note that most of this information is available in R11.5 and will not be displayed in previous versions of Cinema 4D.

File Path

Displays the file’s save path. Click on the button at the right of this field to open this path in the Explorer (Windows) or Finder (Mac) window.

Preview Image
Preview Command

Lets you create a preview image for a given Project, which can be displayed in the dialog window when opening (this image will be displayed when you select a file; does not work under Windows XP).

Auto Save Editor

As soon as the Project has been saved, the currently active view will be imbedded as the preview.

Paste from Clipboard

Lets you copy any image from the clipboard into the preview image.

Copy from Editor

Imbeds the active view as the preview image.

Load from File...

Lets you load any image from a given file.
