Loudspeaker Object
Basic Coord. ObjectLoudspeaker Object
This command creates a Loudspeaker object, which is required for the calculation of 3D sound rendering. You can assign a WAV sound file to a loudspeaker object in the Timeline and later record the sound information emitted by the loudspeaker with one or more microphones.
Loudspeaker objects are displayed in the viewport as 3D objects (simple loudspeaker shapes), but they are hidden when rendered so that they will not interfere with your scene. Like light sources, the loudspeaker object has handles that you can drag in the viewport to adjust parameter values. For the loudspeaker, these handles enable you to change the playback characteristics of the acoustic source (adjustment, range, etc.).
Sound resonance characteristics for the loudspeakers can be adjusted in the Attributes Manager.
