Add Guides
You can use this tool to add guides if you are not satisfied with the automatic distribution of guides, or if you just want more guides.
If the (polygon) object is still bare (without hair), simply select it and paint over it using this tool. A Hair object will be created automatically. Otherwise, simply select an existing Hair object and start painting.
Tip:
If you use this tool to paint Guides, the Hair object will automatically switch to RootAs Guides mode. This is not always desired, therefore, switch back to Polygon Area mode if you want the hair to render normally.
