Activate Guide Falloff if you want the strength of the brush stroke to vary along the length of the guides
This falloff curve defines the strength of the brush stroke at various locations along the length of the curve. The beginning of the curve represents the guide root; the end of the curve represents the guide tip. Visually, the first half of each guide will not be influenced since the strength has been set to 0.
