The Displacement node is used to link a grayscale structure or a texture with a material’s displacement properties. Here, the height of the displacement and any additionally calculated subdivisions can also be activated for rendering. This node makes it possible to define the displacement structure with which a surface can be shaped. Optionally, the surface can also be subdivided.
