Inputs

Data Type

Here you can define the data type for all input and output values. You can select from Float Comma (Float; whole number values (Int)) or the vector types Color, Vector2D and Vector.

Value [-∞..+∞]

This value is converted as a percentage internally to the value range between Input Min and Input Max. The resulting percent value will then be carried over to a range between Output Min and Output Max to produce the Result.

Input Min [-∞..+∞]
Input Max [-∞..+∞]

Here you can define the value range that should be applied to the Value input. Note that the Value settings that lie outside of this input range can also be applied. The percent value that is calculated internally can therefore also be negative and have a value greater than 100%. In contrast to the Range Mapper function in XPresso, an integrated clamp and modulo function are not available. Both can, if desired, be added via the Clamp and Modulo Nodes, respectively.

Output Min [-∞..+∞]
Output Max [-∞..+∞]

Here you can define the value range that should be used for the internal calculation of the percent values between 0% and 100%. If the Value that is input lies outside of the input limit, outputs can also result that lie outside of the range defined for the output values.
