UV Settings

Various UV settings for an unwrapped UV head mesh.

With the introduction of Cinema 4D S22, numerous far-reaching possibilities for defining how UV elements are displayed were introduced. This gives you visual feedback regarding the position, links and quality of the UV meshes and much more.

Most elements will also be displayed in the 3D view (e.g., edges, UV pins, multi-color UV islands). Note that a Texture View Manager must be opened - as is the case with the BP UV Edit layout. The corresponding settings described below must, of course, be enabled.

Tip:
Most of the following settings can also be found as a command in the Texture UV Editor’s View menu.

Configure...

This command opens the UV settings for the active Texture UV Editor.

Configure All...

These two commands open the UV settings for all open Texture UV Editors where you can then modify the settings accordingly.
