Boolean tag

The Boolean tag works together with the Boolean generator. Details on the Boole functionality can be found here: Boolean-Object.

The Boolean tag is used to assign specific Boolean functions to the objects of the first Boolean object hierarchy.

Boolean tags change the Boolean function on an object basis.

In the above illustration, Subtract always acts as the basic Boolean function; in addition, assigned Boolean tags act as follows:

The Boolean tag icon can be double-clicked in the Object Manager to switch through the various Boolean functions.

Although Boolean tags can be assigned to all objects, they only have an effect if they are assigned to objects at the highest hierarchy level below a Boolean generator. Otherwise they are colored red and have no function.

If the first object under the Boolean generator - i.e., the initial object - has a Boolean tag, a set function does NOT work here, but the other settings do.
