Anchor Point Grouping
When animating characters, words, or lines, each of these elements undergoes a transformation according to its own Anchor Point.
Let's apply an Animator to a sentence made up of three words operating on a 45 degree rotation.
Now let's navigate through the different Grouping Anchor points modes:
- Inherit: derived from the Text GeneratorAnchor Point Grouping parameter
- Character: each character has its own Anchor Point defined at its base
- Word: each word has its own Anchor Point at its center
- Line: each line has its own Anchor Point at its center
Note:
The default Inherit mode refers to the Anchor Point Grouping parameter of the Text Generator. This parameter can then be set globally for all animators, before locally changing the Anchor Point for each one.
