Particular
Global Controls > World Transform Subgroup
World Transform is like a set of global Transform properties for Particular. These parameters let you change the position and rotation of all particle systems together. World Transform changes the camera perspective without moving the camera in the scene. In other words, you don't have to move the After Effects camera to move the particles, which frees you to do a lot of interesting animation.
Since World Transform moves Particular systems only, any other layers to which it reacts, such as Bounce Layers, will not move with it.
World Rotation X, Y, Z
World Rotation parameters set the rotation movement of the entire particle system.
- X rotates around a horizontal x axis. Lower values rotate away from the camera. Higher values rotate toward the camera.
- Y rotates around a vertical y axis. Lower values rotate toward the left. Higher values rotate toward the right.
- Z rotates around the z axis. Lower values tilt toward the left. Higher values tilt toward the right.
World Offset X, Y, Z
World Offset parameters set the positional movement of the entire particle system.
- X moves system particles around a horizontal x axis. Lower values move to the left of the screen. Higher values move to the right.
- Y moves system particles around a vertical y axis. Lower values move particles up. Higher values move particles down.
- Z moves the system around the z axis. Lower values move particles closer to the camera. Higher values move particles farther away.
