Arctangent

What is it about?

This page covers the Arctangent node of the Redshift renderer in Cinema 4D. It returns the arc-tangent of its input — used to derive angles from slopes or ratios within procedural shading.

Returns the arc-tangent of Input. When Radians is selected, the output range will be between -PI/2 and PI/2, otherwise -90 and 90 degrees.
