Grid

What is it about?

This page describes the Grid node of the classic node materials in Cinema 4D. It draws lines along X, Y and Z with per-axis density and thickness — procedural grids for technical looks and pattern bases.

The Grid Node generates uniformly spaced bands and grids. Since these elements can be separated from one another using index numbers, individual combinations made up of rectangular structures can be created quickly, as was the case for this simulated façade with alternating window widths.

This Node generated lines along the X, Y and Z directions with individual density and thickness in each direction.
