Field Condition
What is it about?
This page describes the Field Condition of the particle system in Cinema 4D. It selects particles via Field objects — noise volumes, shapes, even images, shaders or sound — so spatial patterns decide which particles downstream modifiers affect.
You can use Field objects for this Condition. This makes it possible, for example, to use spatially limited areas in various forms that have value curves. These include, for example, spatial noise structures or options for influencing the particles via images, shaders or sounds.
Note:
The accuracy of Field sampling can be adjusted via the Field Sampling Variation in the Particle Simulation settings.
A shader field with a 3D color gradient colors the particle stream.
